We are still using Windows XP at work. I wanted to upgrade to JAWS 14 for some of the new editing functionality, but I am hearing horror stories from other users. Colours are allegedly not reported in Word when insert 5 is pressed. WordPerfect is not working at all for some users. Before I go ahead, anyone have any insight into JAWS 14 with Windows XP? Thanks.

Have not experienced these issues. Just set another client running XP up with it yesterday, and found everything working properly in word, excel, outlook, and ACT contact manager. I wouldn't be shocked if some version of WP weren't still supported. General rule is that jaws supports the last 2 versions of a software.

Interesting. I should try it on this machine running XP and see if my experiences are better. They say there is a registry key to improve JAWS support for Wordperfect 12. Thanks for the input!

I'll look forward to updates to this topic as I have xp with sp3 on this netbook. I've put JFW14 on my desktop which runs w7 but haven't upgraded this one yet.

Even if you develop problems you can simply set the version you were using to run instead, so there is no danger upgrading. You don't like it, go back.
